Manal Helal Ayoub Gergis
My educational and academic path was a long journey, gained through it, many teaching and research skills and a great theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Art and Design. It began in 1998 with my graduation from Sculpture Department, Applied Arts Faculty, Helwan University, Egypt, with the first-class honour, and with excellent grade.
In 2004 I have got my master’s degree in applied arts under the title (Computer technology and its impact on sculptor creativity in creating 3D functional objects) and in 2009 my PH.D. Degree also in applied Arts in 2009 under the title (innovative process philosophy of sculpture art) Helwan University. Now, I am a head of Sculpture and Architectural forming and Restoration Department at Helwan University.
My academic teaching experience is up to 20 years, I taught many courses, rang between theoretical and practical ones, Such as; sculpture portrait – sculpture design – product design – digital sculpture – portrait drawing- Plaster Works- sculpture Basics – sculpture History.
On the other hand, I have been involved in the Fine Art Movement in Egypt since I was an undergraduate student. I have participated in international and local exhibitions the recent one was my solo exhibition in the school of art and design in Cardiff university in Great Britain in February 2020
