“Art Spreads Hope”
Through art you can see that bright beam that penetrates the darkness of life and brightens its corners. It is a ray of art with its charm and its ability to change. In light of the Corona epidemic that is sweeping the world, what we need most is a drop of that ray’s light that spreads hope and optimism despite everything. That is why we, a group of artists, have decided to advance the torch of art and beauty in this dark tunnel. We want to continue our role from within our homes, spreading confidence that the world will defeat all epidemics, and become more beautiful, generous, and unified.
Therefore, we present an initiative to hold an exhibition called “Art Spreads Hope”, to be attended by fifty artists from ten countries: Egypt, Italy, Serbia, France, Belgium, Kuwait, New Zealand, the Philippines, Belgium, Cyprus and the United States. This unique display of art from around the world will take place on the “Euro Arab Art Today” cultural site. It will include a wide range of artwork, including painting, drawing, print making and mosaic graphics, sculpture and photography.
The initiative aims to:
-Direct part of the sales proceeds of the exhibition to the treatment of people with the COVID-19 virus in all countries participating in the initiative.
-Emphasize the increased positive energy of the human being in the face of crises by continuing cultural activities, visiting exhibitions online, seeing works of art from home and expanding the scope of exchange of experiences and cultural dialogue.
-Encourage art students, whether in schools or universities, to strengthen their relations with art and visit exhibitions. Students can be confident that we will provide them with educational references on the website so that it can be an artistic and educational visit at the same time.
-Supporting artists by marketing their works on the website.
Long live Man, long live resistance, and long live art, the flower of hope on our planet.
